Removing a Live Client Environment
Deleting a Live Client is a critical operation that can be irreversible. It's essential to understand the differences between available deletion types before proceeding.
Deletion Procedure
- Verify backups and archiving
Before any deletion, ensure complete data backups exist if necessary. This is particularly critical for permanent deletion. - Locate the Live Client to delete
In the Live Clients table, find the environment that needs to be removed. - Click on the "Delete" icon
In the "Actions" column, click on the trash can or delete icon. - Choose the deletion type
The system will present two options:- Hard Delete (Permanent deletion): Permanently removes all data. This operation is irreversible and all data will be lost forever.
- Soft Delete (Reversible deletion): Marks the Live Client as deleted but preserves data in the system. This allows potential future recovery if needed.
- Confirm or cancel the operation
- Click "OK" to confirm deletion
- Click "CANCEL" to abort the operation
- Verify the deletion
After confirmation, the Live Client will disappear from the table (Hard Delete) or appear as deleted (Soft Delete).
CRITICAL WARNING: Permanent deletion (Hard Delete) is permanent and cannot be undone. All data, configurations, documents, and Live Client history will be permanently lost. Use this option only when you are absolutely certain and have the necessary written authorization.
